It has been a week now since my test results came back positive. Since that time, my wife and my mother and the two youngest children living with us have all tested positive. I don’t understand why it has been a “shock” for each person to read their test result. We knew that it was the most probable result because I was positive and we have shared many of the same symptoms.
This post was written in November 2020 and never published. Probably because it was never finished. Since that time, my brother has died of covid in March 2021 and we have seen the Delta Surge and the Omicron Surge. Everyone in this household has been vaccinated and I have had my booster. I believe covid will be with us for the rest of my life. I still feel some of the covid symptoms from time to time, especially the fatigue. Cathy does as well. But we manage. Mask mandates and vaccination mandates and other restrictions are subsiding. It appears that the worst is behind us now.
